The French through the eyes of an American

We were delighted to have you for few days in KL, Jayna! I liked our discussions about cultural differences, about being Asian-American in the heart of Hoosierland (where I spent one year myself) and about French people and body smells ;-) Come again whenever you feel the urge to work on your French!

I wish you all the best for you voluntary action in India... Farewell!

Aw! Thanks, Remi! I had a great time (and even was reminded about just how American I am...) as well. Hopefully we'll get to catch up in real life again!

Especially if you still wanna do the PIC 2008, you'll have to train hard, and Taman Melawati trek is a good start...

Can't wait to read your last adventures on your blog!

Let me know when you're gonna go up to Tmn Melawati again okay? Hopefully it's not gonna be this weekend since I'm planning to go back to see my 'mami' - ca fait trop longtemps for the old lady that is known as my grandma.

Sure I'll let you know! Hey, how come the foreign one is the tourist guide for the local one ;-) ??

If you want, I can teach you some basic Bahasa as well...

Because when a one foreigner is in a foreign land, they tend to discover more things, usually better than a local (to a certain extend of course). You know what i mean? I'd do it myself since i know where Tmn Melawati is but I wouldn't know where to begin / trail?! :)

PFft remi i speak better bahasa than you! Apa la!

... not so sure! I know how to use "cannot lah" and "finish already", you see, I'm perfectly fluent in Bahasa M'sia!!!

Where does Grandma leave? In Klang? Is your French half coming along? Enjoy your family weekend Popo!

My nenek lives in Klang, and chez mes parents is located in Port Klang (about 5-7 mins drive from the jetty where one can go to Pulau Ketam)

French half is a workaholic remember ;) Besides, it'll be nice to focus purely on my beloved dogs!!

Shall we try a nice rendezvous for next sunday if you're not too busy? have fun in Pangkor!
